has officially entered the elite ranks of electric vehicle performance. Its
latest model, the SU7 Ultra, has shattered records on the legendary
Nürburgring track in Germany.
🔧 With an official lap time of 7:04.957, the SU7
Ultra now holds the title of the fastest mass-produced electric car in
the world—surpassing the 2023 record set by the Rimac Nevera (7:05.298).
💡 What makes this achievement even more impressive is
that the SU7 Ultra completed the lap completely stock, without any
performance modifications. This showcases Xiaomi’s serious engineering
capability in the EV market.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun
expressed pride in the achievement on China’s social media platform Weibo,
though he admitted the record might not last long, hinting at even faster
developments in the near future.
With competitors like the Tesla
Model S Plaid and Porsche Taycan Turbo GT previously ruling Nürburgring, the
SU7 Ultra has now taken the crown.
