Instagram,
kullanıcı deneyimini geliştirmek için sürekli yeni özellikler test etmeye devam
ediyor. Platformun en çok kullanılan içerik formatlarından biri olan Reels videoları için heyecan verici bir yenilik
gündemde.
Uygulama analisti Radu Oncescu
tarafından keşfedilen yeni özellik, Reels için resim
içinde resim (Picture-in-Picture) desteğini getiriyor. Bu
özellik sayesinde kullanıcılar, tıpkı YouTube’daki gibi videoları ekranın
köşesinde küçük bir pencere üzerinden izlemeye devam edebilecek.

En dikkat çekici nokta ise uygulamadan çıksanız bile Reels izlemeyi
sürdürebilecek olmanız. Yani başka uygulamalara geçerken bile video küçük bir
ekranda açık kalacak.
Özellik şu anda sınırlı sayıda
kullanıcı üzerinde test ediliyor. Reels ayarlarına girildiğinde “Resim İçinde
Resim” seçeneği görünecek ve buradan aktif edilebilecek. Henüz tüm
kullanıcılara ne zaman sunulacağı açıklanmadı.
Bu yenilik, özellikle çoklu görev yapan kullanıcılar için büyük kolaylık
sağlayacak. Instagram, Reels’in kullanım oranlarını artırmayı hedefliyor.

Even Outside the App
Instagram
continues to roll out new features to enhance user experience. The latest
update in testing brings an exciting change to its most popular format — Reels videos.
App researcher Radu Oncescu discovered that Instagram is
experimenting with a Picture-in-Picture
(PiP) mode for Reels. Similar to YouTube, this feature will
allow videos to keep playing in a small floating window on the screen.

The most notable advantage is that you can continue watching Reels even after
leaving Instagram. Whether you switch to another app or return to your home
screen, the video will remain active in a minimized window.
Currently, the feature is being
tested with a limited number of users. Within Reels settings, a
“Picture-in-Picture” toggle appears, which can be enabled to activate the
function. There’s no official release date yet for a wider rollout.
This update will especially
benefit multitaskers who want to enjoy Reels while doing
other activities on their devices.
